Kenmore Village Hotel, South Beach - Miami Beach

The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute stroll to the beach, with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, complete with a coffee machine and fridge. I loved the stunning grounds and the inviting pool area, which offered plenty of seating options.

I recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a brilliant location, the room was super and fairly quiet. The staff was amazing and excellent, I'm grateful for their help. Liked central heating, multi-channel television, and coffee and tea making equipment in the room. Location: the property was not far from the beach, restaurants and all sightseeing places and restaurants and Washington avenue. I randomly popped in News Cafe serving some pastries, located at a medium distance from the hotel, it was nice.

Alright, so let's start with the good stuff! The location is super convenient-just a couple of blocks from Ocean Drive, so you can easily hit the beach and explore all the fun bars and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and comfy, especially the bed. Plus, I loved the key code system for easy access-who needs physical keys, right?

Now, on to the not-so-great stuff. The elevator was out of order the entire weekend, which was a major hassle, especially since my room was on the third floor! I was a bit disappointed that you have to request room cleaning ahead of time, and I found it super weird that there were no utensils available at the restaurant. To top it off, the AC went out one night, which made for a pretty sleepless evening! Ugh.

Zero soundproofing made it tough to get quality sleep, especially with doors constantly slamming and footsteps echoing in the hall. There was also a strange smell in the corridors and rooms that was hard to ignore. The check-in time at 4 PM felt late, and the photos online set an unrealistic expectation compared to the actual room. The small gym was basic, but I appreciated the nearby outdoor facilities. I wouldn't describe the hotel as glitzy, more like an upscale hostel. A mixed experience with some highlights but notable noise and cleanliness issues.
